Troubleshooting

If you are having trouble accessing the Safeguard BPO website, try the following steps:

  1. Make sure you are using the correct website address: http://bpo.safeguardassetmanagement.com
  2. Double-check the user ID and password that were emailed to you. Enter them exactly as shown; both are case-sensitive. Make sure that your caps lock is off.
  3. Close all Internet Explorer windows, open a new one and try to log in again.
  4. Make sure you are running Internet Explorer 5.5 or greater. In your browser's menu bar, click Help -> About Internet Explorer. If this option does not appear, you are not using Internet Explorer.
  5. If IE is not your default browser, you can try to open it by clicking Start -> Run and entering the word iexplore in the dialog box. You can also find it on your machine here: My Computer -> Local Disk (C:) -> Program Files -> Internet Explorer -> iexplore
  6. Under Help -> About Internet Explorer, check the version number. If it is less than 5.5, you should update IE. If the updater fails, you can also try downloading and installing the latest version.
